The lunch was delicious and the customer service very freindly and professional. We got a seat right by the log fire. We will be back!

I booked during the week via Facebook and will definitely be returning and recommending it to anyone who asks. I chose the beef which was particularly tender. My husband is not a roast fan and chose their special- macaroni cheese with chorizo. All 5 of us who are there enjoyed our meal immensely.

The owners are excellent pub landlords- the kind that can see when there isn’t enough gravy on your food and rather than leave it say ‘do you want some more on that I’ll go sort it’. They are those kind of people! They also sat us by the fire as thought that as it was a special night for us we might prefer that. Sadly we don’t live near enough to visit again but we couldn’t recommend this more.
